    As a workshop facilitator, Betsy guides transformative experiences, drawing from over 25 years of diverse expertise, including roles as a Casting Director (CSA), Headshot Photographer, Chef, and Caterer.

    Co-founder of Women’s Daily Post, Betsy demonstrates her commitment to providing a platform for women's voices. Described as an alchemist, she excels in transforming lives, and her exceptional connection-making skills contribute to her success as a community builder and coach.

  • Betsy Heeney: Creative Aging Guide—Navigating Artistic Expression and Self-Discovery on the Journey.

    As a nationally certified visual arts teacher for 25 years Betsy not only reflects her dedication to education but also underscores her expertise in nurturing artistic self expression in herself and others. As an exhibiting artist in painting and photography, Betsy’s creative  spectrum is wide and vibrant. In contemplating retirement, Betsy produced and hosted a podcast on aging, Elder & Wiser, which gave her  permission to interview artists, thinkers and super-agers across the country. The experience helped her transition into a full time inquiry of her own journey into elderhood by deepening her practice in visual arts, meditation and writing. Betsy’s passion and renewed mission is to bring the visual arts, the written word and creative expression more fully into the lives of those who desire it.

    Drawing from over a decade of experience as a licensed clinical professional counselor, Melodi recognizes the courage it takes to reach out for support and strives to make therapy an empowering experience. In her private practice, Maryland Virtual Therapy, LLC, she utilizes an approach to therapy that prioritizes compassion and connection. Melodi is a Level 1 trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) practitioner, and she is passionate about this transformative and evidence-based healing modality. Her IFS virtual workshops offer participants an opportunity to explore the nuanced facets of their inner worlds. She loves offering guided meditations, creating safe containers in which individuals can seek a deeper understanding of the complexities within. As a heart-centered therapist, she believes that every human has the ability to tap into the energy and wisdom of their higher Self.
